What is CVE-2026-29176?

A stored XSS vulnerability exists in the Commerce Settings - Inventory Locations page of Craft Commerce, prior to version 5.5.3. This issue arises because the Name field is not correctly HTML-escaped, allowing an attacker to inject and execute arbitrary JavaScript code. This vulnerability poses a risk especially when an administrator or users with product editing permissions are creating or modifying variant products, potentially compromising the security and integrity of the eCommerce platform. The vulnerability has been addressed and resolved in version 5.5.3.
