What is CVE-2026-29181?

The OpenTelemetry-Go implementation has a vulnerability related to multi-value baggage handling. Versions 1.36.0 to 1.40.0 improperly parse header fields, allowing attackers to send multiple 'baggage:' header lines. This results in CPU and memory allocation amplification, even when individual values stay within the standard 8192-byte limit. Users are advised to upgrade to version 1.41.0 to mitigate this issue.
