What is CVE-2026-29784?

Ghost, a popular Node.js content management system, has a vulnerability due to incomplete Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) protections in the /session/verify endpoint for versions 5.101.6 through 6.19.2. This flaw allows potential attackers to misuse One-Time Codes (OTCs) in login sessions that differ from the initiating session, which could facilitate phishing attempts that aim to compromise user accounts and control Ghost sites. The issue has been addressed in the latest patch, version 6.19.3, which users are strongly encouraged to implement.
