What is CVE-2026-30225?

The OliveTin software prior to version 3000.11.1 is susceptible to an authentication context confusion vulnerability within the RestartAction component. This flaw allows low-privileged authenticated users to execute shell commands that should be restricted, resulting from the mishandling of authentication headers. When a synthetic request is generated, the system defaults to guest user permissions, potentially offering greater access than intended. Consequently, this can lead to privilege escalation and unauthorized command execution, bypassing access control lists (ACLs). Mitigation has been implemented in version 3000.11.1.
