What is CVE-2026-30232?

Chartbrew, an open-source web application designed for creating data visualizations from databases and APIs, has a vulnerability prior to version 4.8.5 that allows authenticated users to establish API data connections with arbitrary URLs. This functionality exposes the system to Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) attacks. Without proper validation of IP addresses, the server can fetch external URLs, potentially exposing internal networks and sensitive cloud metadata endpoints to malicious exploitation. Users are strongly advised to upgrade to version 4.8.5 or later to mitigate this risk.
