A vulnerability exists in the RustDesk Client across multiple platforms, including Windows, MacOS, Linux, iOS, and Android. This issue arises from the cleartext transmission of sensitive information during the Heartbeat sync loop processes. Specifically, it affects the heartbeat JSON payload construction that includes the preset address book password, making the application susceptible to sniffing attacks. As a result, unauthorized entities may intercept sensitive data during transit, compromising user privacy and security.
