What is CVE-2026-31069?

BillaBear, in all versions released before January 2026, has a SQL Injection vulnerability present within the EventRepository component. This vulnerability arises from the direct incorporation of user-controlled input from metric filter names and aggregation properties into SQL queries via the sprintf() function, lacking sufficient sanitization or proper identifier quoting. While the filter values are parameterized, the keys representing filters are not. An authenticated attacker with ROLE_ACCOUNT_MANAGER privileges can leverage this flaw to execute arbitrary SQL commands, potentially compromising the integrity and confidentiality of the database.
