Archive Extraction Vulnerability in OpenClaw Software by OpenClaw
CVE-2026-32044
6.7MEDIUM
What is CVE-2026-32044?
OpenClaw versions released before 2026.3.2 are vulnerable to an archive extraction flaw in the tar.bz2 installer path. This vulnerability allows attackers to craft malicious tar.bz2 skill archives that bypass critical safety checks designed for other archive formats. As a result, the normal safety precautions such as special-entry blocking and extracted-size guardrails can be circumvented, potentially leading to a local denial of service during the installation of skills.
