What is CVE-2026-32981?
A path traversal vulnerability was discovered in Ray Dashboard, hosted on the default port 8265, impacting versions prior to 2.8.1. This flaw arises from the inadequate validation and sanitization of user-supplied paths within the static file handling mechanism. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by utilizing traversal sequences (e.g., ../), enabling access to files outside the designated static directory. Consequently, this could lead to unauthorized local file disclosure, posing a significant security risk for affected deployments.
