What is CVE-2026-33029?

The Nginx UI, a web-based interface for the Nginx web server, contains an input validation flaw in its logrotate configuration. When an authenticated user submits a negative integer as the rotation interval, the backend may enter an infinite loop or an invalid state. This flaw can lead to a complete denial of service, making the web interface unresponsive. The issue has been effectively resolved in version 2.3.4.
