What is CVE-2026-33194?

SiYuan, a personal knowledge management system, has a security flaw prior to version 3.6.2 where the IsSensitivePath() function inadequately protects file paths. This vulnerability arises from an incomplete denylist approach, allowing access to sensitive Linux directories such as /opt, /usr, /home, /mnt, and /media. These directories can expose critical data, as the globalCopyFiles and importStdMd features use this function to thwart unauthorized file access outside the designated workspace. An updated fix was introduced in SiYuan version 3.6.2.
