What is CVE-2026-33209?

The Avo framework for Ruby on Rails applications is prone to a reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the return_to query parameter. Malicious actors can exploit this flaw by crafting harmful URLs that, when activated through dynamic navigation buttons, execute arbitrary JavaScript within user sessions.
