Denial of Service Vulnerability in AutoGPT by Significant Gravitas
CVE-2026-33235
7.7HIGH
What is CVE-2026-33235?
AutoGPT, a workflow automation solution for managing AI agents, is susceptible to Denial of Service attacks due to inadequate control over expression complexity in the Fill Text Template block. Attackers can exploit this vulnerability in versions before 0.6.52 by supplying resource-intensive Python/Jinja2 expressions, overloading the CPU and memory of the server. This could lead to severe performance degradation, complete service outages, and require manual intervention for recovery, especially in multi-tenant or self-hosted environments.
Affected Version(s)
AutoGPT >= 0.1.0, < 0.6.52
