What is CVE-2026-33251?

An authorization bypass vulnerability exists in the Discourse discussion platform that allows unauthorized users to accept or unaccept solutions in hidden solved topics. This issue affects versions prior to 2026.3.0-latest.1, 2026.2.1, and 2026.1.2, which include fixes. To mitigate the risk, it is recommended to restrict the 'accept_all_solutions_allowed_groups' setting to trusted users only.
