What is CVE-2026-33427?
An unauthenticated attacker exploiting the vulnerability in the Discourse platform can manipulate a legitimate authorization page to display a malicious, attacker-controlled domain. This misdirection can lead to social engineering attacks that deceive users into providing sensitive information. Versions updated to 2026.3.0-latest.1, 2026.2.1, and 2026.1.2 have addressed this issue with critical patches, while no workarounds exist for earlier versions.
