What is CVE-2026-33480?

The AVideo platform, widely utilized for video hosting, has a vulnerability within the isSSRFSafeURL() function that permits attackers to bypass URL validation. This issue arises when IPv4-mapped IPv6 addresses are used, which pass all security checks. As a result, the unauthenticated service at plugin/LiveLinks/proxy.php becomes susceptible to exploitation, allowing unauthorized access to internal services, cloud metadata, and even localhost resources. A patch addressing this vulnerability is available in the code repository.
