What is CVE-2026-33706?

A security issue in Chamilo LMS allows authenticated users with a valid REST API key to exploit the update_user_from_username endpoint. By doing so, users can change their status from Student (status=5) to Teacher/CourseManager (status=1), granting them unauthorized course creation and management permissions.
