What is CVE-2026-33795?

A numeric truncation error in the rpd process of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved can be exploited by unauthenticated network-based attackers. By sending a BGP Prefix-SID route advertisement that is later re-advertised, these attackers can initiate a denial of service condition. This vulnerability is significant for network integrity and availability, impacting versions 20.4R1 and later, as well as 20.4R1-EVO for its evolved version.
