What is CVE-2026-33881?

Windmill, an open-source developer platform, has a code injection vulnerability that arises from the interpolation of workspace environment variable values into JavaScript string literals within the NativeTS executor. An admin setting a custom environment variable containing a single quote can lead to the execution of arbitrary JavaScript within all NativeTS scripts in that workspace, allowing for potential exploitation. This issue is identified in the worker.rs component and has been addressed in version 1.664.0.
