What is CVE-2026-33950?

The Signal K Server application, utilized as a central hub in marine vessels, exhibits a vulnerability allowing unauthenticated users to escalate privileges through Admin Role Injection via the /enableSecurity endpoint. This flaw permits attackers to gain full Administrator access, enabling the modification of sensitive vessel routing details, adjustments to server configurations, and access to restricted endpoints. To mitigate this risk, users are advised to upgrade to version 2.24.0-beta.4, which contains the necessary security patch.
