IP Restriction Bypass in Wertheim SafeController Software
CVE-2026-34025
5.3MEDIUM
What is CVE-2026-34025?
The Wertheim SafeController Software contains a vulnerability that allows attackers to bypass IP restrictions during the login process. While the application aims to restrict user logins based on the IP address assigned to specific branch locations, it relies on the HTTP X-Forwarded-For header for client IP determination. If an attacker possesses valid branch user credentials, they can exploit this flaw by manipulating the X-Forwarded-For header to spoof the expected branch IP address, enabling access from unauthorized locations.
