What is CVE-2026-34051?

OpenEMR, a widely used electronic health records and practice management application, contains a vulnerability that compromises the Import/Export functionality. This security flaw exists in versions prior to 8.0.0.3 and enables unauthorized users to execute import and export actions by manipulating direct requests, effectively bypassing the user interface restrictions in place. Such unauthorized actions could lead to significant risks, including data breaches, bulk data extraction, and unauthorized manipulation of sensitive system data.
