What is CVE-2026-34455?

The Hi.Events open-source platform for event management and ticket sales has a vulnerability where multiple repository classes accept the user-input 'sort_by' query parameter directly to Eloquent's orderBy() function without proper validation. This exposure allows attackers to exploit SQL injection vulnerabilities, particularly with PostgreSQL's support for stacked queries. Users are strongly advised to update to version 1.7.1-beta, where this issue has been addressed.
