What is CVE-2026-35396?

The WeGIA application, which manages web operations for charitable institutions, contains an Open Redirect vulnerability in the /WeGIA/controle/control.php endpoint. This issue arises from improper validation of the nextPage parameter when used with metodo=listarId and nomeClasse=IsaidaControle. By exploiting this vulnerability, attackers can redirect users to arbitrary external sites, posing risks such as phishing, credential theft, malware delivery, and social engineering attacks, all under the guise of the trusted WeGIA domain. Users are encouraged to upgrade to version 3.6.9 or later to mitigate these risks.
