What is CVE-2026-3544?

A heap buffer overflow vulnerability exists within the WebCodecs component of Google Chrome, which can be exploited by attackers to execute an out of bounds memory write through the use of a specially crafted HTML page. This could allow remote attackers to manipulate memory and potentially execute arbitrary code, thereby posing a significant security risk to users on affected versions.
