What is CVE-2026-35480?
The go-ipld-prime library, used for handling InterPlanetary Linked Data, possesses a vulnerability that leads to excessive memory allocation caused by unregulated size hints in the DAG-CBOR decoder. This implementation flaw allows small payloads to excessively allocate memory, which could lead to performance degradation and resource exhaustion. The issue has been addressed in version 0.22.0.
