What is CVE-2026-35517?
The Pi-hole FTL engine contains a Remote Code Execution vulnerability in the dns.upstreams configuration parameter. An authenticated attacker can exploit this issue by injecting arbitrary dnsmasq configuration directives through newline characters. This malicious action can lead to command execution on the underlying system, potentially compromising its integrity. The vulnerability is addressed in version 6.6.
