What is CVE-2026-35567?

An SQL injection vulnerability exists in ChurchCRM, an open-source church management system, which affects versions before 7.1.0. This flaw arises from improper integer validation in the NewRole POST parameter of src/MemberRoleChange.php, allowing authenticated users with the ManageGroups role to execute arbitrary SQL commands. Attackers must have an authenticated session and knowledge of valid GroupIDs and PersonIDs, which can be obtained from the GroupView or PersonView pages. The vulnerability has been addressed in the 7.1.0 update, and users are urged to upgrade to this version to mitigate risks.
