What is CVE-2026-3558?

A vulnerability in the Philips Hue Bridge allows network-adjacent attackers to bypass authentication due to a configuration flaw in the HomeKit Accessory Protocol service. By exploiting this flaw, an attacker can access functionalities on the Hue Bridge without authentication, as the service listens on TCP port 8080 by default. This presents significant security risks for users, permitting unauthorized access to connected home devices.
