What is CVE-2026-35640?

OpenClaw prior to version 2026.3.25 has a vulnerability in its JSON request body handling. The software does not validate webhook signatures before parsing, allowing unauthenticated attackers to exploit this flaw. By sending malicious webhook requests, attackers can force resource-intensive parsing tasks that can lead to server resource exhaustion. This vulnerability can potentially cause a denial of service, interrupting normal application operations.
