What is CVE-2026-3776?

A vulnerability exists in Foxit PDF Reader where the absence of required appearance (AP) data in stamp annotations allows a specially crafted PDF document to trigger a null pointer dereference. This results in application crashes and denial of service, as the software does not perform adequate checks before accessing potentially unreliable data. Users may experience unexpected behavior or service interruptions when opening vulnerable PDF files.
