Cross-Site Scripting Issue in Frappe by Frappe Technologies
CVE-2026-3837
4.6MEDIUM
What is CVE-2026-3837?
An authenticated attacker can exploit a cross-site scripting vulnerability in Frappe by persisting specially crafted values across multiple field types. When a document containing these crafted values is opened by another user, it triggers the execution of malicious client-side scripts. This vulnerability arises from unsafe interpolation of stored values into raw HTML attributes and element content, allowing attackers to manipulate the document's behavior without proper escaping mechanisms.
