What is CVE-2026-39918?

The Vvveb application prior to version 1.0.8.1 is susceptible to a code injection vulnerability that occurs in its installation endpoint. An attacker exploiting this flaw can inject arbitrary PHP code through the unsanitized subdir POST parameter, which is directly written into the env.php configuration file without proper validation or escaping. This unsanitized input can allow for unauthenticated remote code execution, allowing an attacker to perform malicious actions as the web server user.
