What is CVE-2026-39985?

The LORIS (Longitudinal Online Research and Imaging System) is a self-hosted web application designed for managing neuroimaging research projects. Prior to versions 27.0.3 and 28.0.1, LORIS lacked appropriate validation for the redirect parameter following user login. This oversight allowed attackers to manipulate the redirect value, potentially tricking users into navigating to malicious URLs, thereby compromising user security. This vulnerability has been addressed in the latest versions.
