What is CVE-2026-40522?

An SQL injection vulnerability exists in FrontAccounting, specifically in versions prior to 2.4.20, affecting the Bank Statement report handler. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers to exploit the PARAM_0 POST parameter by injecting malicious SQL commands. By leveraging this flaw, attackers can execute UNION SELECT statements, thereby retrieving sensitive information from the database.
