OpenClaw versions prior to 2026.3.31 are susceptible to a symlink following vulnerability in the SSH sandbox tar upload feature. This security flaw allows remote attackers to exploit tar archives containing symbolic links, facilitating the overwriting of files on the remote host. The vulnerability enables attackers to break out of the sandbox environment, creating significant risks to the integrity of the file system.
