What is CVE-2026-41380?

OpenClaw versions prior to 2026.3.28 are susceptible to an execution approval vulnerability found in exec-approvals-allowlist.ts. This flaw allows attackers to maintain persistence by trusting malicious wrapper carrier executables over the invoked targets. By exploiting the positional routing of these executables through dispatch wrappers, an attacker can manipulate allowlist entries, ultimately leading to a significant weakening of the execution approval boundaries. This vulnerability raises concerns about the security of systems utilizing OpenClaw, making it imperative for users to update to the latest version.
