What is CVE-2026-41412?

The alf.io ticket reservation system prior to version 2.0-M5-2606 is at risk due to a file inclusion vulnerability. The extension sandbox irresponsibly injects an HTTP client that permits extensions to execute arbitrary file reading actions. This is facilitated by the postFileAndSaveResponse() method, which lacks critical path validation or directory restrictions. As a result, malicious scripts can exploit this access to read sensitive files from the filesystem of the JVM process user and transmit the data to unauthorized servers using HTTP POST, posing a significant security threat.
