The PJSIP multimedia communication library, versions 2.16 and earlier, contains an integer overflow vulnerability in the media stream buffer size calculation. This issue arises when processing Session Description Protocol (SDP) with asymmetric ptime configurations, potentially leading to an undersized buffer allocation. Such improper handling may cause unexpected application termination or memory corruption, impacting the stability of applications relying on this library. The vulnerability has been addressed in version 2.17.
