What is CVE-2026-41916?

OpenClaw versions prior to 2026.4.8 are susceptible to an authentication state management vulnerability that arises during configuration reload operations. The resolvedAuth closure may become outdated, leading to a situation where new gateway connections leverage stale authentication states. This flaw allows attackers to potentially bypass authentication mechanisms, exploiting the weaknesses created by improper state management after configuration changes.
