What is CVE-2026-41939?

The Care Everywhere Gateway version 14.3.10 contains a vulnerability due to hard-coded credentials in the embedded WildFly 8.2.0.Final management interface. This issue allows unauthenticated remote attackers to exploit default credentials, which are identical across all installations. By accessing the WildFly management console on port 20990, attackers can deploy malicious Web Application Archive files via the Deployments interface, leading to potential remote code execution as the Windows machine account. It's important to note that the 14.x.x versions have reached end-of-life status since 2017, with subsequent releases addressing this vulnerability.
