What is CVE-2026-42015?
A memory corruption issue exists in GnuTLS relating to an off-by-one error in the bounds checking of the PKCS#12 bag element. When an attacker appends to a PKCS#12 bag that already contains 32 elements, they can exploit this flaw to write past the limits of the internal array. This could lead to instability or denial of service, creating a risk for applications that rely on GnuTLS for secure communications. Users should take appropriate measures to upgrade or patch affected versions to mitigate these risks.
