What is CVE-2026-4204?
A command injection vulnerability exists in D-Link's network attached storage devices due to improper handling of user-supplied input in the cgi_myfavorite functions of the /cgi-bin/gui_mgr.cgi file. This flaw allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary commands through the f_user argument. Exploitation of this issue could lead to severe unauthorized control over the affected D-Link devices, as the exploit is readily available in the public domain.
