What is CVE-2026-4208?

The TYPO3 extension has a flaw that prevents it from correctly resetting the MFA code after a user successfully logs in. As a consequence, an attacker could potentially bypass multi-factor authentication in future login attempts by simply submitting an empty string as the MFA code. This vulnerability undermines the security provided by MFA, exposing sensitive information and systems to unauthorized access.
