What is CVE-2026-4209?

A command injection vulnerability has been identified in multiple D-Link network products. The issue arises from improper handling of user input in the /cgi-bin/account_mgr.cgi file. Functions such as cgi_create_import_users and cgi_user_modify are particularly vulnerable, allowing remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands. This vulnerability can be exploited via publicly available exploit scripts, compromising the security of affected devices.
