What is CVE-2026-42153?

Coolify, a self-hosted tool for managing applications and databases, had a vulnerability affecting its PostgreSQL healthcheck command generation. Before version 4.0.0-beta.474, the application permitted the use of attacker-controlled database settings in shell commands, creating the potential for unauthorized command injection by authenticated users. This flaw could allow for executing arbitrary commands within the database container, thereby compromising the security of the affected instance. The issue has been addressed in version 4.0.0-beta.474.
