What is CVE-2026-42233?

An SQL injection vulnerability exists in the n8n workflow automation platform prior to versions 1.123.32, 2.17.4, and 2.18.1. This flaw affects the Oracle Database node's select operation, where user-controlled input in the Limit field is not properly sanitized or parameterized when interpolated into SQL queries. As a result, an attacker can exploit this vulnerability by injecting malicious SQL code, potentially leading to unauthorized data access and exfiltration from connected Oracle databases. Users are urged to update to the patched versions to mitigate this risk.
