What is CVE-2026-42454?

Termix, a web-based server management platform, has a vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary OS commands on remote servers. This occurs due to inadequate sanitization of the containerId URL path parameter and WebSocket message fields, which are directly interpolated into shell commands during SSH executions. An attacker can exploit this flaw by supplying a malicious container ID, resulting in potential Remote Code Execution. This vulnerability affects all versions prior to 2.1.0, which includes a patch for the issue.
