What is CVE-2026-42870?

A Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the WeGIA web manager for charitable institutions, specifically in the 'Description' field of the user profile page. In versions prior to 3.7.0, an attacker can inject a malicious script payload that becomes persistently stored in the web application. Whenever the profile page is loaded, the injected script is executed, potentially leading to unauthorized access to sensitive user data or enabling further attacks. This issue has been addressed in version 3.7.0.
