What is CVE-2026-4324?

A vulnerability exists in the Katello plugin for Red Hat Satellite due to improper sanitization of user inputs. This flaw enables remote attackers to inject arbitrary SQL commands into the 'sort_by' parameter of the /api/hosts/bootc_images API endpoint. Exploiting this vulnerability could result in a Denial of Service by causing database errors and may also allow attackers to perform Boolean-based Blind SQL injection, potentially leading to the extraction of sensitive information from the database.
